Amanda is an Associate at Tidewater.  Her responsibilities include investment analysis, portfolio analysis, market research, pipeline development, and acting as project manager for several of the company’s operating assets.

Before joining Tidewater, Ms. Cheng worked for Westbrook Partners in San Francisco, where she was responsible for investments and asset management for their portfolio, which included residential, office, industrial, and hospitality properties in the Western U.S. She was also involved in investor relations and business strategy for Westbrook Partners. Ms. Cheng received her Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration at Cornell University.

Craig Young is the Managing Principal of Tidewater. Mr. Young is responsible for long range planning and spearheading growth initiatives for the business. On a day-to-day basis, Mr. Young oversees the firm’s investment and organizational functions. Since the company’s inception in 2013, Mr. Young has grown the firm’s portfolio by investing in and/or developing more than twenty projects throughout the Bay Area. These projects include vertical development and repositioning existing assets across a range of product types including market rate, affordable, and rent-controlled housing, as well as industrial, office, retail, hotel, and self-storage assets. Mr. Young also leads the firm’s investor relations efforts and has organized a series of discretionary investment vehicles alongside endowment, foundation, and family office partners.

Before establishing Tidewater, Mr. Young was a leader within the investments group at The JBG Companies (now JBG Smith) in Washington, D.C. His previous work experience includes roles at CIM Group and Deutsche Bank. Equipped with a strong entrepreneurial zeal, Mr. Young has gained significant experience across a broad range of business building endeavors throughout his career.

Mr. Young is actively involved in various philanthropic efforts aimed at promoting economic opportunity and the arts throughout the Bay Area. In 2014, Mr. Young received the Golden Brick Award; a recognition presented annually to an individual who has made an outstanding impact in their community. In 2015, Mr. Young was recognized as one of the San Francisco Business Times’ 40 Under 40 honorees. Mr. Young has been a featured speaker at Harvard and the Milken Institute as well as at industry events including ULI and NAIOP.

A native of Central Florida with deep family roots in Northern California, Mr. Young received his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Young enjoys spending his free time outdoors.

Duy Tang

Duy Tang is a Senior Accountant at Tidewater. His primary responsibilities include managing strong internal accounting controls, supervision of the Company’s third-party bookkeeping team, review of monthly and quarterly reporting, and cash flow management.

Prior to joining Tidewater, Mr. Tang worked at KPMG in the audit practice where he provided audit services and solutions to a diverse range of clients in the Asset Management, Investments, and Real Estate sectors. Prior to his tenure at KPMG, Mr. Tang worked as Property Accountant at Merlone Geier Partners, a vertically integrated and regionally focused Real Estate firm, where he was responsible for monthly financial reporting, budget analysis, cash flow management, and GL reconciliations for a portfolio of commercial properties.

A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Tang received his B.A. in Financial Services from San Francisco State University. In his free time, Mr. Tang enjoys practicing martial arts, yoga, and spending time outdoors.

Before joining Tidewater, Ms. Wei worked for Bentall Kennedy, now BentallGreenOak, in San Francisco, where she was responsible for product development and corporate strategy. Her prior experience includes an acquisitions role at Clarion Partners in Los Angeles, where she worked on a variety of residential, office, retail, and industrial acquisitions and developments in the Western U.S.Ms. Wei received her B.S. in Mathematics from MIT and her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jim Tung is a Finance Director at Tidewater. His primary responsibilities include financial/investor reporting, cash management activities, system integration, and coordination with the Company's third party service providers.

Prior to joining Tidewater, Mr. Tung served as Senior Fund Accountant at Stockbridge Capital Group, a real estate investment management firm, where he was responsible for accounting, investor reporting, loan compliance and cash management activities for various JVs, separate accounts, and funds. He also managed NCREIF reporting process at Stockbridge. Prior to his tenure at Stockbridge, Mr. Tung worked as Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where he had his primary industry focus in Real Estate.

Mr. Tung holds an active CPA license in California. He is currently the Audit Committee Chair at San Francisco Community Health Center (formerly known as "API Wellness Center"). Mr. Tung received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Southern California.

Julia Read is an Analyst at Tidewater. Her primary responsibilities include investment analysis, portfolio analysis, market research, pipeline development, and supporting the asset management of several of the company’s operating assets.

Before joining Tidewater, Ms. Read worked at Eastdil Secured in San Francisco, where she was an Equity Sales Analyst and was involved in the underwriting of assets across the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest.

A native of San Diego, California, Ms. Read received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kyle Snyder

Kyle Snyder is the Asset Management Director at Tidewater. His primary responsibilities include helping to lead Tidewater's portfolio-level asset management initiatives where he plays a central role in managing the firm's existing commercial portfolio.

Prior to Tidewater, Mr. Snyder was a portfolio manager for Presidio Bay Ventures, a San Francisco-based investment and development firm, overseeing portfolio and asset management responsibilities for several mixed-use and multifamily assets. Before that, he was a member of the asset management team at Jamestown, an Atlanta-based real estate investment and management firm, overseeing asset management responsibilities for over 1 million square feet of office and retail/mixed-use assets along the West Coast. Prior work experience includes The TJX Companies and Transwestern.

A native of the Bay Area, Mr. Snyder holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Saint Mary's College of California.

Kyle Winkler is the Development Director for Tidewater. Kyle is responsible for the management of ground up development, re-positioning, and capital projects at Tidewater.

Before joining Tidewater, Kyle worked at UDR where he managed various luxury multi-family developments throughout the Bay Area and Los Angeles. His previous work experience includes roles at Balfour Beatty Construction, Howard S. Wright, and the Hanover Company. Throughout his career Kyle has been involved in over 1.5 million square feet of ground up multi-family construction as well as major hospitality renovation projects. Kyle also sits on the Board of Trustees of the National MS Society Northern California Chapter.

A native of Portland, Oregon, Kyle has spent his entire career in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University.

Before joining Tidewater, Mr. Klimerman worked for The JBG Companies in Washington, D.C. He worked on a variety of residential, office, retail, hotel, townhome, and debt investments, including the management of numerous new acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Klimerman was also an active board member of JBG's philanthropy and public art committees. His previous work experience includes roles at the CIM Group in Los Angeles, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the New York City Mayor's Office.

Mr. Klimerman sits on the governing board of the Downtown Oakland Community Benefit District.

A native of Manhattan in New York City, Mr. Klimerman holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University.

Nick Bryer is a Managing Director at Tidewater. His primary responsibilities include helping to lead Tidewater's investment strategy and acquisition efforts where he plays a central role in managing the sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing functions for the firm.

Prior to Tidewater, Mr. Bryer was responsible for sourcing and managing investment opportunities at The Roxborough Group, a real estate private equity fund based in San Francisco.  Before that, he was based in Los Angeles as a member of the investments team at CIM Group, where he sourced investments and led teams across CIM’s debt and equity fund strategies. Mr. Bryer began his career as a member of the acquisitions group at Beacon Capital Partners, a Boston-based real estate private equity firm.

A native of Boston, Mr. Bryer holds an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business.

Ross Stackhouse is a Principal at Tidewater. His primary responsibilities include managing the firm's operations and directing Tidewater's market research and investment strategy. Mr. Stackhouse also directs many of its philanthropic and community engagement activities.

Before joining Tidewater, Mr. Stackhouse worked for The JBG Companies in Washington, D.C., where he led a variety of residential, office, hotel, and retail investments including the management of new acquisitions and support of numerous development and asset management projects. Mr. Stackhouse also oversaw the firm's market research platform during his time at JBG.

Mr. Stackhouse is an active member of the Bay Area Council, SPUR, the U.S. Green Building Council, and the Urban Land Institute. He is also a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) and serves as the Chair of the organization's Northern California Chapter.

A native of lower Manhattan in New York City, Mr. Stackhouse holds a Bachelor of the Arts with Honors in Environmental Studies from Brown University. He is passionate about sustainable development, creative land use, and the evolution of vibrant urban environments.

Stephanie Gellepes is Executive Assistant/Office Manager at Tidewater. Her primary role is supporting the Managing Principal and other members of the Tidewater team. Stephanie also supports human resources, office management, and marketing functions for the firm.

Before joining Tidewater, Mrs. Gellepes worked as Office Manager at Salter, an acoustics firm, where she was responsible for executive support, facilities maintenance, and marketing support functions. Her previous work experience includes a role as Communications Coordinator for The Pacific-Union Club in San Francisco.

A San Francisco native, Mrs. Gellepes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Before joining Tidewater, Mr. Larsen worked at Wells Fargo & Co, where he was an Associate in the Real Estate Banking group and was involved in structuring and underwriting debt instruments for institutional clients.

A native of the Bay Area, Mr. Larsen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Tony Trenh is an Accounting Manager at Tidewater. His primary responsibilities include financial reporting of various investment vehicles to Tidewater’s internal asset managers, joint venture partners, lenders, and fund partners.

Prior to joining Tidewater, Mr. Trenh worked as a Property Accounting Manager at Harvest Properties, a vertically integrated, full-service, cross-disciplinary real estate firm, where he was responsible for monthly reporting, budgeting & forecasting, cash flow analysis, and CAM reconciliations for a portfolio of commercial properties.

A native of the Bay Area, Mr. Trenh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
